The Hajj
It’s the most important pillar in our religion. This is one
of the five pillars of Islam. Every year all Muslims around the world go to
Mecca in KSA. Also, all Muslims wear pilgrims clothes white robes called the
ihram. The pilgrimage begins on the eight h day of Dhul Hijjah.Each day, when
we are praying our face must be directed to Ka’aba. Also, in Mecca all Muslims
must do the same. Although, it is very crowded we must be careful. The Ka’aba
was built by Abraham and his son Ishmail. The pilgrims must take inoculation
two weeks before the hajj. When they arrive they should stay in the hotels,
hostels and tents. The rituals start before entering Mecca ,all pilgrims change
their clothes to white dress and cut their nails. Women wear white long robes.
After that they have to do Twawaf seven times around the Ka’aba , then they go
to safa and Marwah seven times also. At night, pilgrims travel to Mina. In the
morning they travel to Arafat. In the evening, they travel to Muzdalifah where
they have to camp. Next day, back to mina to throw seven pebbles at each of the
three statues at the Jamraat. This is Eid-Al Adha for all Muslims. The back to
Mecca to do Twawaf and then return to Mina. Finally, they can go back to their
homes.
